THE HEALING TREE

Exodus 15:23-26

The Israelites had crossed the Red Sea and they met their first challenge, the water was bitter.

Verse 22 Moses brought the Israelites from the Red Sea. *You cannot get to your promise land unless you cross through the blood.

They went through the wilderness for three days. *Before resurrection takes place you must go through the grave for 3 days.

Verse 23
Marrah is the Hebrew word for bitterness, pain or emotional rejection.

Change Marrah to bitterness in the text.

They went to Moses to complain about the bitterness of the water. Moses, where is the honey and milk we were promised. So Moses went to God and he was asked to cut the tree to dip it into the water.

God just tested them, because He had just brought them out of Egypt through the Red Sea.

There are people who always forget what God did for them yesterday as soon as they are faced with a challenge today  - ungratefulness.

There are always two groups of persons, one that pray and the one that complain. Which group do you  belong to in time like this. Be like Moses, enter into prayer.

Whenever God brings you into a place of bitterness and pain. He wants you to know that He is the God of....

1. God of Providence.
He led them by providence  so that they who know who He is, He will test you. He leads you. He sent you to that office, that marriage etc. not to complain but like Moses to pray for the success of that place.

2. God of Purpose.
He wants to establish a covenant with you

3. God of Provision.
God says cut that three. The tree (solution) was already there. He had already provided the solution. Before the virus came, God had solution already. They did not see the tree (cross) as the solution. The tree was a shadow of the cross to come 400 years later. 1 Corinthian 1:18 & 22 The preaching of the cross is foolishness to them that perish but to us, it is the power of God unto salvation.....
1 Corinthians 2:14

1Peter 2:24
He bore our sins on a tree. By His stripes we are healed.... The tree  (cross) you disrespect, is that which will bring you salvation. * The man you rejected, is the one who would have brought you salvation.

Some of you, you do not recognize your salvation. You downplay it, you are in church but you are stealing, fornicating, lying etc. *Repent and turn your life around - When the centurion saw Jesus crucified, he knelt down and prayed for forgiveness..
*Stop disrespecting the cross and begin to recognize its efficacy.

Colossians 2:14-15
3 Things that the cross brings to you

1. He broke every spiritual or family law that is against you. He has dealt with any curse, be it blood line or ancestral.

2. He made a public spectacle of the devil. The weaknesses of the devil has been exposed. Anything that intimidates you is made naked.

3. He gave you victory over death and the devil. The devil has been disarmed, he cannot touch you because the blood.

Amen and Amen.

DAILY PRAYER POINT REV SALLY JULIE ARMAH

Daily Prayer Point.  Sovereign Lord, Great and mighty God from whom all blessings flow, and giver of all good things, we praise you. Yesterday Father, we celebrated mothers and gave you thanks for their love. Today, Father, we lift before you all women who are married and are seeking the blessing of the fruit of the womb. Gracious Father just as word says "you visited Sarah" and "remembered Hannah" , so look down in mercy, hear the prayers of all these women. Lift up the light of your countenance upon them, O Lord, let your face shine upon them and make them joyful mother of children in Jesus Name. Psa113:9KJV.

I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart.  Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together. I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears". Heavenly Father as people cry unto you from all over the earth, hear and deliver them from all their fears in Jesus Name. Psa 34:1-4 NLT.
